OUR STORY

DyeMansion is a rock band from the Nuremberg metropolitan region that has been in existence since 2009, dedicated to the genre of Adult Oriented Rock (AOR). With their captivating sound and impressive stage presence, they have secured a firm place in the local rock scene.

The current lineup is led by Thomas Rödel, a charismatic singer with a unique voice. Alex Wiener on bass provides the solid groove, while Bernd Müller shines with his virtuoso guitar riffs. Daniel Otto on keyboards adds an atmospheric and melodic component to the songs, and Stefan Meyer delivers the driving rhythm with his precise drumming.

DyeMansion can look back on countless performances, including opening for renowned bands such as Errorhead, as well as appearances at various festivals like the Kulmbach Motorcycle Star Ride, Rock am Rothenberg, and the Erlangen Starry Night. Their energetic live performances and captivating music have consistently thrilled audiences and created unforgettable moments.

During the Corona period, the band achieved a remarkable milestone: they were able to record the song „Juliet Will Ride“ together with the legendary singer Damian Wilson (known for his work with bands like Threshold, Ayreon, and Arena). This collaboration showcases the versatility and quality of DyeMansion’s music and has received great acclaim from the fan community.

Throughout their career, DyeMansion has released several recordings, including the EP „DyeMansion“ (2009), the albums „Turn Back The Time“ (2013), „Atropos“ (2020), and the EP „A Twist of Atropos“ (2022). These recordings demonstrate the band’s musical evolution and present a mix of catchy melodies, powerful rhythms, and diverse songwriting.

Thomas Rödel

Lead vocals

Thomas Rödel is the powerful voice at the front of the band. With commanding presence and emotional delivery, he brings every song to life with energy, passion, and attitude. His vocal style is rooted in rock tradition—strong, expressive, and versatile—able to drive heavy riffs and soar melodic lines alike. Whether belting anthemic choruses or delivering subtle lyrical nuance, Thomas holds attention and sets the tone for every performance. With his dynamic range and connection to the audience, Thomas is the unmistakable voice that defines the band’s sound on stage and in the studio.

Bernd Müller

Guitars - Vocals

Bernd is the band’s guitar force from day one. His playing combines power, precision, and a strong sense for melody, shaping the band’s sound from the very beginning. With a clear feel for riffs, solos, and dynamics, Bernd delivers both drive and atmosphere, forming a key pillar of the band’s identity.

Alexander Wiener

Bass - Vocals

Alexander “Alex” Wiener is the band’s solid low-end backbone. With decades of experience, his bass playing is tight, groovy, and always song-focused. In addition to the band, Alex is active in projects like React and Käptn Iglo, highlighting his versatility and musical range.

Daniel Otto

Keyboards - Vocals

Daniel's atmospheric keyboards add depth and texture to our sound, creating the epic soundscapes that define our progressive approach.

Stefan Meyer

Drums

Stefan has been part of the band for decades. Coming from a Thrash Metal background, his drumming is powerful, precise, and driving. Over the years, he expanded his style into rock and AOR, combining groove, control, and musicality. Stefan forms the solid rhythmic backbone of the band.
